Product Description
Starr Arms Co. came out with the single-action first at the request of the United States Army Ordnance Department, they wanted a "cheaper" model of the Colt double-action. The company complied, and the Union Army acquired 25,000 of the single-action version for just $12 each (about $315 today).
Its a timeless piece, its a neat piece, and whether you're a Civil War buff or just like cool revolvers, you should really get one, they're semi-rare, limited runs and when available, sell-out quickly.
