All Pietta firearms come with a 1 Year Warranty beginning on the day of purchase from a distributor. We do not recognize any purchases from sites like Gunbroker.com or pawn shops as under warranty. Once you receive your firearm, immediately check for faults or failures (i.e. functional or cosmetic problems). If you notice a functional failure, DO NOT take the firearm apart more than a field strip (Detailed list below). Taking apart the firearm beyond field stripping will void the 1 Year Warranty. Email or call Pietta Firearms USA so we can resolve the issue.

Field Strip Definitions

• 1836/1851/1860/1861/1862/LeMat: Removal of barrel and cylinder
• 1858/1863/1873: Removal of cylinder
• 1878: Removal of barrels and forend stock
• Smith Carbine: No field strip, contact Pietta
